Their musical magic comes home! On September 19, 1981, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel set foot on a stage in front of half-a-million adoring fans who were gathered in Central Park in New York City to witness musical history. These two wonderful entertainers who left us a legacy of music during the turbulent sixties, had not played together in over a decade. After 11 long years the sounds of silence were finally broken. It was obvious this was going to be a special night, singing such beautiful classics as "Mrs. Robinson," "Homeward Bound," "Feeling Groovy," "America," and "The Sounds Of Silence," as if they'd never been apart. The night flowed with a moving history of their music and a tender rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water," brought rousing applause. A solo performance by Garfunkel includes "April Comes She Will" and "Scarborough Fair." Paul Simon sings his light-hearted view of life, "Still Crazy After All These Years." The musical magic of Simon and Garfunkel had returned, like the warm smile of a long lost friend.
